世界地垫产业管窥

一.地垫英语语境世界的表达

地垫用英语表达最常见的形式是：Mats(一般用复数形式)。这是一个较粗颗粒的关键词。一般建议用:floor mats和ground mats，这是更确切的表达。门垫一般用：door mats，Entrance Mat这种表达也很常见。

相关词：carpets, rugs, tapestries, mats, cushions 。carpets, rugs, tapestries的材质一般都织物，加工的主体工艺是纺织。而其中tapestries是挂毯，也就是说一般是垂直地面放置的。carpets, rugs是铺装在地面上的(mats也是)。而carpets是大块、满铺。Rugs则是指小块毯。Mats和cushions一般对材质没什么指定，可以是织物，如纤维什么的，也可以是塑料、橡胶、铝合金、木制等等。Mats一般和脚有关，多在地面使用。Cushions则更多的用在其它场合如：靠垫、枕头垫、杯子垫等，一般和坐相关。一个明显的例子，汽车内的后靠垫一般用seat cushions表达，而脚下的垫子一般用car mats表达。

地垫产业的一般分类。

1By material (按材料)：carpet floor mats(卷材地垫), aluminum mats（铝合金地垫）, silicon baking mats（硅胶烘培垫）等。

2By user(按使用者)：baby mats(婴幼儿垫，也有play mats, puzzle mats的表达)，car（floor） mats(汽车脚垫)，exercise mats (作训垫,很多分类：GYM mats, turf mats, wrestling mats, treadmill mats, Yoga mats, Pilates mats, etc.)

3By application(按适用场合)：door mats(门垫，entrance mats), floor mats(地垫，carpet floor mats, Ground Protection Mats, industrial floor mats etc.), bath mats(浴室垫，wet area mats), Outdoor Adventure Mats(户外探险垫)，baking mats, officer mats。

4By function(按功能)：Anti-Fatigue mats(抗疲劳地垫)，Anti-Skid mats(防滑地垫)，Anti-Static mats(防静电地垫，又称ESD-safe mats), ESD High Temperature Mats, Dust Control Mats(控尘地垫)，Damp proof Mats（防潮地垫）。

我们公司主打产品集成模块地垫，在英文中一般用:modular mats表达，也有用interlocking floor mats表达的，少数用puzzle mats。
